Cremona, the city of Stradivarius and the great historic italian violin makers is still very active in violin making matters.
The city of Cremona has opened a violin Museum dedicated to violin making on the 14th of september 2013.
A reconstitution of violin making workshop was inaugurated where visitors are able to see how instruments are made. Visitors can also admire Stradivari instruments in several and other important makers of Cremona, like amati and Guarneri families’ instruments, in several rooms of the museum. They will also be able to listen to violins and other string instruments.
Alessandra Villa, the museum curator declared that the Museum is just any musician dream becoming true.
